I am using ubuntu 10.04, and its giving similar error when I run
make epic blip. And all these errors points to msp430/timer/XXX.nc
interfaces/modules.
But its working fine with micaz, as its referring other files.

i'd suggest upgrading to something more current and upgrading to the 4.5.3
compiler toolchain.
other than that I don't know what is going wrong.many other people have
compiled that code without problem. So it is far from obvious as to what
is going wrong on you
you don't tell us anything about what toolchain you are using.
Without that it is impossible to tell anything about what is going on.
