One other thing (if I don't discover soon enough): How do I establish a volume's valid last page? I mean, I erase the volume with one application, but sync doesn't work after it. Later attempts to write also fail, as though there were no valid metadata pages in the volumes. Can someone please help me, even if by giving some orientation into where to seek for the answer?
