I'm not sure it's possible to communicate over UART0.
If you look on the MSP430 block diagram (attached) it shows that only UART1
goes to USB converter.

Hello,
Does anyone have a base station application in which the PC side is
communicating on UART0? I have tried to convert the ordinary base station
that comes with the tinyos 2.0.2, but no success.
An idea just how to share the radio and the uart on the msp430 would be very
welcome.
