Hi Kewei, You can get the current consumption during the program execution by using an oscilloscope. Hook up a small resistor in series between the battery and the board, then use the oscilloscope to get the voltage in both sides of the resistor. BR, Diego

Hi, All, Does anyone have experience in calculating power consumption in real sensor deployment? I can get the power consumption using PowerTossim, and I want to move on to the real deployment. Do any of you know how to calculate power consumption in real sensors, e.g., Mica2 Motes? Basically, I want to know the initial energy and the remaining energy after the execution of my program. Then, the energy consumption is the different between these two numbers. But I have no idea about how to measure the remaining energy. Or do I have to measure the current during the program execution? All suggestion is welcomed. Thanks a lot.
