Hi Kewei,
You can get the current consumption during the program execution by using an
oscilloscope. Hook up a small resistor in series between the battery and the
board, then use the oscilloscope to get the voltage in both sides of the
resistor.

Asunto: [Tinyos-help] how to calculate power consumption in real sensor
deployment?

Hi, All,
Does anyone have experience in calculating power consumption in real sensor
deployment?
I can get the power consumption using PowerTossim, and I want to move on to
the real deployment. Do any of you know how to calculate power consumption in
real sensors, e.g., Mica2 Motes? Basically, I want to know the initial energy
and the remaining energy after the execution of my program. Then, the energy
consumption is the different between these two numbers. But I have no idea
about how to measure the remaining energy. Or do I have to measure the current
during the program execution?
  All suggestion is welcomed.
  Thanks a lot.
  Kewei
