I have a very negatively reactive student in one of my classes. And I have to conduct course evaluation within a month. I can predict that she will be writing down some nasties. I am waiting on the opportunity for her to be absent from class to pass out the course evaluation forms. Is this ok?

It is unethical to selectively choose your evaluators from those who you perceive will give you a positive rating. Tempting as it may be to follow the course of action you've suggested, I wouldn't do it, for two more reasons: 1. She may have some important opinions to offer, despite her negative
