I am collaborating with a colleague to collect information on course assessment practices, particularly standard or recommended assessment practices. My colleague is looking to gather this information for a variety of disciplines. With regard to Psychology courses, I am looking to provide course assessment information for the following courses: 1. Introductory Psychology 2. Child Development 3. Lifespan Development 4. Abnormal Psychology 5. Human Sexuality 6. Social Psychology For each of these courses, I am looking for the following information: 1. Course Description 2. Desired Outcomes (i.e., Student Learning Outcomes, Benchmarks) 3. Indicators=20 4. Certification, Accreditation or Professional Standards 5. Web Availability of these details I was hoping to find some course assessment standards via the APA Assessment Cyber Guide but have had no luck. Thus, I'm now looking to collect information from individual departments. If you have department-wide assessment procedures (or outcomes) for any of these courses, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
