I defending my dissertation at the University of Chicago. Our defenses
were technically open to the public, but rarely did people come without
invitation. I think
At Mizzou mine was not public.I did invite some friends to my far-out quonset
hut pad for a post defense bash.
We must have olayed Arlo Guthrie's song Coming into Los Angeles...
over 50 times.
