Well, I had forgotten about the Gina Kolata article in the New York 
Times posted by Dennis Goff back on April 20th (and still available 
at http://tinyurl.com/95vjx ). She noted in the very first line of 
her item that "People who are overweight but not obese have a lower 
risk of death than those of normal weight, federal researchers are 
reporting today."

So she conveyed the news all right.
