Someone asked me what I thought about Ken Wilber and Integral Theory.
I have to admit that I've never heard of it. After a quick check
online my first impression is that his ideas are either "new agey" or
just more philosophical than psychological. I've never seen him

crazy," in which registration never seems to end and we get pressure to
add students whenever. The rule of thumb that I've been using is once the

the next time it is offered. If she is in her last semester, she can
still come back to take a class if she REALLY wants the class as
I wouldn't let her in.

Hi Nancy:
I pretty much agree with Michael. My experience is that the more I bend over to
help a student the more likely they are to bite me in the behind come evals

Nancy - Here's my opinion about your response student who was lobbying hard
to add your class after having missed more than one class, probalby having
missed the deadline to add, and not choosing to attend the class at which
she approached you. I think you handled the situation properly. At the p
Hello Tipsfriends,
Last night as I was preparing to teach my Weekend College class at El Camino a student came in and asked if she could add. I told her that the add period had ended on Monday (so she had missed two classes) but she could attend and I would take her information at the end of class
