I recommend Hagenhahn and Olson. I use the questions at the beginning of each
chapter as quiz questions to inspire doing the assignments

Miguel,My personal choice (and be advised that I come from the humanistic side of clinical psychology) is Barbara Engler's book. The last edition I used is the 5th; however, I know it has been updated at least once since then. Houghton Mifflin is the publisher. Dr. Bob Wildlbood Lecturer in Psych
I used an older edition of Phares, but I have not seen the newest
edition. I don't tend to like any Personality Theories book a great deal,
although I currently use Burger's text. I would be interested to know
what you decide, as I plan to switch next year.
