psychotherapy" you get about a bazillion links.
Several months ago, I stumbled across a version for my Palm handheld, and
blimey, it works. As well as Eliza ever did...

I've seen several versions of ELIZA on the web, some of which are in java.
Some do a better job than others. I can't seem to find my list of ELIZA
sites, but here are a few I found from a simple web search:

amusing to try to rewrite the program Eliza the Nondirective
Therapist for the web. (The program, originally written in
1966, conducts a conversation of sorts with the user --
mostly by "reflecting" the user's input in s
