Correction:They even spell it correctly. :-)
 
Sir HumphryDavy proposed the name aluminum for the metal, however, the name 
aluminium wasadopted to conform with the "ium" ending of most elements. 
Thisspelling is in use in most countries.

Near“privacy” on the site Jim sent is “prius” and, although it is 
pronounced“Pree-us” in the USand on the site, I have heard Jeremy Clarkson call 
it a PRY-us. Maybe that isjust his editorial comment. I also love to hear the 
British pronunciation ofaluminum. They even spell it differently: “aluminium”.
