So, I'm watching "With All Due Respect" On Bloomberg TV and on
the window menu of topics being covered, the second entry is
"Clintonomics" except its in capital letters and a sans serif font
(like Arial, unlike Times New Roman font). Perhaps my eyesight
is getting bad (I am getting old) and/or I need a larger TV screen
but the L and I fused and I wondered how the hell they were able to
get away using the resulting word on TV. I can imagine "Voldemort"
saying it as a description of Hillary's economics policies but I think
that
TV shows will need to double-check how the word appears on
TV or phone screens.
I'm sure that there is a perception experiment waiting to be done
on how far apart L and I need to be for them not to be fused into a
single letter but I'll leave that to be done during the nonpolitical
season.
