The 1936 Olympics held in Nazi Germany was weird for a number of reasons (fascism has a tendency to do that) but perhaps one of the weirder aspects fell under the "Arts Competition" (not sure when they dropped that competition area) was "Town Planning" which was an Olympic Event from 1924 to 1948.
