Blaine, I second Larry's comments. My dean offered to send me for some
professional development my first year as chair and I chose the AHDP
meeting. I'm glad I did. It's a very supportive group and the conference
left me feeling better equipped. It is also valuable to have access to
their listserv,

Departments of Psychology that is having a conference in Atlanta in late
October. Does anyone have experience with this group or their
conference? Would you recommend it for a chair at a primarily
undergraduate institution?
