Joan: I agree that the movie could help shape better positive attitude toward those who stutter. I have not seen the movie myself,but when I go I will have only one focus and that is how he stuttered.As a matter of fact,Winston Churchill purportedly stuttered but I don't think he underwent

One very positive result of the film, The King's Speech, is that it has enabled fluent speakers to understand and have more sympathy for those less fluent speakers among us. Our very own Vice-President has come forward about his issues with stuttering as a child and the teasing he endured
