Dear TIPS,

I was told about a movie that *possibly* came out in the 1980s that is
pertinent to teaching/understanding statistical concepts and might be useful
to get students to watch while registered in a univariate or introductory
stats course.

The movie is about a company who produces razorblades and wants to know if
they should increase the number of blades on their razors or not. During
their deliberations, they hire a statistician who teaches them about
sampling/conducting survey research/interpreting the results, and so on. It
doesn't sound very dramatic but supposedly it was pretty good?

The main problem is that the person who told me about this had absolutely no
idea what it was called and a number of Google and IMDB searches have so far
proven fruitless, so I was hoping that the above synopsis might sound
familiar to some of you. Any insights about tracking down this film would
be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Matt
