I know it's not SPSS, but AcaStat works great on the Mac. There's a
free version that is limited. The interface looks a lot like SPSS.

I have my Research Methods students doing their first SPSS assignments and as
usual it has been truly a nightmare. :) The students that are working on MACs
are having a horrible time. They have to open virtual windows and other stuff
