Hello friends,
I have just survived a 6 years long drawn legal battle with our tenant
.Finally won the case only a couple of weeks ago.I was very depressed during
this period. As regards my transverse myelitis,I have increasing walking
disability can't do without my walking stick when I go out
Does anyone ever have moments that they don't feel anything?
Moments of no pain but then you move and shazam! there it is again?
Next month it will be 13 years for meand for every minute of every
day while I am awake I am conscious of my discomforts...you just sort of
become familiarr with it and really notice it most when there is even a
slight change better or worse.

i tell people that i have my bad days and my worse days.
worse days are usually in a fetal position.
bad days ,I'm driving a tractor and hoping to God I don't hurt anyone.
it doesn't look very promising when your stumbling around to get to the truck,
my boss has been very caring.
I can't
Dear Saroj,
It is so wonderful to hear from you!! I'm sorry you've had a tough legal
battle
that took so
much out of you. I remembered that you were having to deal with something
besides your
health, but couldn't remember the details.
Glad you won your case and now maybe you will have
Saroj,
I
know you don't know me but I do understand the importance of doing
something that might take your mind off of your pain even for a little
bit or as long as your mind can do it.
My Neurologist told me to do what i can as hard as i can for as long as i can
and when i cant , don't
Saroj, when I saw your name on the August TM Birthday list, I wondered about
you and how you were doing. It's so very good to hear from you again. I am
sorry about the legal battle -- I know that kind of thing can sap your
energy. I am glad you won the case and it is over now.

Hi John,
I wish I could say I had no pain for even a few seconds. But,from the moment
I open my eyes until I go to sleep the burning pain, numbness, tingling, and
banding are my constant companions.
Today is a really bad day. Yesterday I went to Walmart with my daughter
Lynn.While walking
I am never pain free, however, I have moments when I didn't think about the
pain. Then shazam !

Saroj,
I too am glad to see your name and hear from you. I remember when I got TM 7
years ago seeing your name and hearing of your legal troubles back then. It
sounds like a long hard battle but you persevered and wond. Congratulations.
I hope now for happier times for you. It is good to
I feel pretty much like Patti. There are never any pain free times however
there are times that I can get engrossed in reading, sewing, crocheting etc
and don't think of the pain. However, then I go to move or do something
else and 'Shazam' is the right word. Nothing wants to move and it all
yes indeed Thank goodness for the engrossing times.

Well, here in Elvisland, my back yard (in the shade) hit 99.7º a bit after 12
noon.
At 8:30 PM it was down to 91.0º.. Wow.

Saroj,
It is so good to hear from you. I have thought of you often. I am one who
reads, but rarely posts. After 16 years of TM I have now contracted another
autoimmune condition and am on massive doses of steroids to try to get it under
control. This time it was with the peripheral nerves
Ditto for me too, John. Pain is just something we live with.

I know the heat is tough on us with TM, what weather isnt? But . . . I
much prefer the heat to the cold. Of course where I live it doesnt get
that hot, only around 29 Celcius, and I am sorry to my American friends but
I am not sure how much that is in Farenheit. Perhaps around 85? Heather
I too have a very caring boss. And I am in the same position: Worse days -
bed - maybe not in fetal position, but curled up somewhat. Bad days - off
to work, hoping I don't make a huge mistake that buggers the whole company.
I have noticed though, that my ability to drive long distances (
