I plan on asking my neuro about the lyrica when I see him in august...tho I only take my neurontin so I can sleep at night , and relax my sensations..not for pain. I also guess I am lucky in the respect that I only take 900mg once a night. (sometimes 600 if its not so bad)....my neuro says the 2 drugs are in the same class and do the same thing?
So whats the argument I can give him to switch? whats the difference?

Yes, taking 3600 mg per day my memory was the pits too.  Not terrific now but I don't feel like I'm in such a fog. 
I feel fortunate that I am able to cut back as there are many who can't.

Yes, neurontin was the drug of choice! I was up to 3600mg. a day.. but I was having "memory" problems... so my new neuro wants me to cut back. I now take 600mg 4 times a day... morning, afternoon, evening and then whenever I wake in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. :)
