Ladies,   Did a quick check on this--the OPP mentioned in the e-mail is the Ontario Provincial Police and *677 DOES contact them, as does 911, but this does not work anywhere else (unfortunately).  Since I used to live in Canada, I thought I recognized the OPP initials...at any rate this is REALLY good to know for if you are in Ontario, and the part about not pulling over for unmarked vehicles until you are in a well-lighted, populated area is also really important!  Thanks Jude!   Bev
