I don't believe that there is a relation between the Diabetes and Transverse Myelitis.  But I have heard that the nerve pains are similar.  I use an Anodyne Therapy that is used for people with Diabetes with nerve pains.   www.anodynetherapy.com. Hopes this helps, Todd in Corpus Christi, TexasPy
