right click on ur startup. bat and go to property
1)go to memory tab and put the intial enviorment to 4096
2)click apply a shortcut will be made for u. use this shortcut to
start the server.
and yes put in autoexec.bat
set JAVA_Home=<path of jdk folder>
set TOMCAT_HOME=<path of ur tomcat>
