Lenny, What are the exact problems you are experiencing? What are you doing and what goes wrong? Have you tried putting log4j-X.X.jar under WEB-INF/lib of your webapp? Have you read the section "Default Initialization under Tomcat" in the log4j manual (http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/docs/manua
