You can also place the jar file of the Oracle driver in the WEB-INF/lib
directory of the jakarta context that you are using at the time.
This works with the MySQL jar driver.

In S.u.S.E. is done with the rc scripts (/etc/rc.d). Tomcat start when the
system starts.
Probably in Redhat it works of the same form.
Try to copy the rc scripts of S.u.S.E to your RedHat.
