Hello All, I have a WAR file that correctly deploys if tomcat is allowed to unpack the WAR (unpackwars=true). However I would like to deploy the WAR file without unpacking. So in server.xml I have something like :-
<snip> <Host name="localhost" debug="0" appBase="webapps" unpackWARs="false"> <Context path="/tsrdweb" docBase="tsrdweb.war" debug="0"/> <snip> The tomcat documentation suggests you should set unpackwars "FALSE to run the application directly from a WAR file." (see http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.0-doc/config/host.html). However it doesnt work. I get errors indicating that Tomcat cannt find WEB-INF/web.xml. Has anyone successfully deployed a WAR and run the application from the WAR without unpacking ? TIA, Mark This message is for the named person's use only.
