Hey everyone, really hope you can help because I really hit the wall here. I configured and installed Tomcat 4.1.24 with IIS running on Windows 2000, now I cannot get my basic authentication to work. I have it configured in web.xml and it worked before when it was Tomcat only stand-alone, now it deesnt work anymore. I have tried everything I could think of, and everything that I read about in the archives, still nothing. Setting tomcat authorization to true or false didnt help. I really dont care what does authentication IIS or Tomcat, but I need it :)
It seem that I got to one point where IIS basic authentication is on and it works when users types in domain.com/webapp however when you go in as domain.com/webapp/ it goes right through.
