Catalina / Tomcat 4 works perfectly on my redhat 6.x/7.O.

i managed to setup tomcat 3.2.1 on redhat7 and it works fine
now trying to use catalina(tomcat 4.1 b) does not seem to work when running
startup.sh .
BTW
JAVA_HOME is set to /usr/java/jdk1.3
am i missing something.
on win2k catalina works.
