It seems that tomcat 4.1.12 is creating way too many processes when I start it up in linux. I am already running tomcat 3.2.4 with about 200 virtual hosts with no problem. When I try to start up tomcat 4.1.12 with the same amount of virtual hosts it gives me an out of memory error saying it is "unable to create a new native thread".
Is there something I need to do to minimize the amount of processes created. Even if it would start, as more are created on my machine, the main java process that monitors them ends up taking all the cpu.
