Tomcat 4.0.3 NT service on Windows 2000
I am trying to increase the heap size to run a servlet that needs lots of memory. I set the system environment variable: CATALINA_OPTS="-Xmx256m" Everything works fine when I start tomcat from the commandline, but I run out of memory when I start the NT service. Is the NT services running startup.bat? (I tried to look at the source in the CVS baseline but everything was in the Attic). Is there anything else I need to do to increase the maximum heap size of the JVM of the NT service?
