I've had the JDBCRealm working with some Access tables (using ODBC-JDBC
bridge) for some time, but today tried adding digest="MD5" or digest="SHA"
to the Realm element in server.xml, but I get a NullPointerException
whenever I submit the login form now.

It's accepting the attribute
Sorry - forget that message - I seem to have a problem with the error
handling page not defining the exception object even though I've set
isErrorPage="true".
