Aparently my problem has to do with the ability of mod_jk to interpret the wildcards in the workers2.properties file.

However, in linux (apache + tomcat), I can't run any of the examples themselves, and I'm not able to watch the images in the jsp-examples page. Aparently I have to type a different line in the settings file (workers2.properties) for each different directory. Is there a way to circumvent this?
