I am trying to configure Basic Authentication with IIS/Tomcat and have not had any success yet. Here is my operating environment: Tomcat 5.5.9 IIS 5.0 I get HTTP 401 error when I ran this setup. I have successfully ran the same setup with Apache/Tomcat. I would appreciate it if anyone could point me to any material that I might read to resolve this issue, or if anyone has had the same experience I would like to know what you did to resolve this issue.
