So I tried it with the following:
su root /usr/bin/tomcat4 start
And still have the same output in catalina.out.

if you run a command like this:
su - tomcat4 -c $CATALINA_HOME/startup.sh

I just installed Tomcat4 as RPM on Redhat 8 with apache2 installed.
I have configured my workers.properties, setup JAVA_HOME, CATALINA_HOME
On trying to start tomcat4 the logfile /var/tomcat4/logs/catalina.out
shows:
ERROR reading /var/tomcat4/conf/server.xml
At Line 96 /Server/Servi
