Looks just fine to me. You should be getting a file called mod_jk.conf in
$CATALINA_HOME/conf/auto.

I changed the port in the server.xml file...and that port
does not work
when i try to access tomcat on it...
Where are the ApacheConfig Listener elements
Actually, now that I think about it, you might want to set append to
false instead of true.
