Hello Joao, I have read an article on http://www.3plus4software.de/ in which Tomcat's cgi servlet was configured to serve PHP.
I haven't tested it myself and the information is in German, but it didn't look very complicated. Unfortunately I couldn't find the article anymore on their site. Luckily I saved the article to my harddisk as an .mht (Internet Explorer web archive file). Let me know if you want me to mail that file.
