After I did the following, the tomcat 3.2.1 to work. make a TOMCAT_HOME environmental variable by doing the following: TOMCAT_HOME=/export/jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1;export TOMCAT_HOME and then make a JAVA_HOME environmental variable by doing the following: JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk117_v3;export
