I asked the same question few minutes back. One of two ways: 1. set reloadable=true for your web app context element in server.xml. Restart tomcat. 2. Copy the ant build.xml in tomcat-docs/appdev/sample into your web app, edit the build.xml for ur app and call "ant reload" everytime. -- pad
