Sheesh. I never even thought of that, but yes, that's your problem.
The markup below makes no sense, anyway -- two rows, one frame??

there must be a way to solve it.
if you are in the UK and on DSL there are a number of ISPs who provide static
IP services without port blocking at no significant premium. But even if you
are on a dynamic IP

Yes,
1/ don't post any more about this to the list, since it has nothing
to do with Tomcat, and
2/ find a real hosting solution :-)
Good luck!

I know Tomcat 5 hides index.jsp so that the home page appears as

Dear hassan,
Can this be a problem ( can framesets be a problem in getting the home page again and
again )
When I tried the URL the content
was served. This is what I got.
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Mon, 27 Sep 2004 13:33:15 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.29 (Unix)
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Content-Type:
This is what I use to prevent caching and it has worked for me:
%
response.setHeader(Cache-Control,no-store); // HTTP 1.1
response.setHeader(Pragma,no-cache); // HTTP 1.0
response.setDateHeader (Expires, 0); // prevents caching at the proxy
server
%
I think the first setting is more important
Hi,
Added :
%
response.setHeader(Cache-Control,no-cache);
response.setHeader(Pragma, no-cache);
response.setDateHeader(Expires, 1);
%
The problem still persists.
This problem does not occur with tomcat 4.1.18, but occurs with tomcat
4.1.24.
Hi,
when I open a webfolder (webdav) using tomcat-4.18 and change (double click)
the directory, IE refreshes only when I click on an other IE window. What is
the reason and how can I fix the problem?
I work with Windows XP-SP-1.

Hi,
when I create a new directory from a webdav client (MS explorer), the
new directory will be created but the client shows the new directory
only after a refresh. This error does NOT occur with tc-4.1.12 but with
tc.4.1.18. Any ideas why?

I forgot to notice, that the bug happens only when tomcat-4.1.18 under
Windows-2000 runs and NOT under Linux.

Hi gurus!
I'm using Cocoon 1.8.2 over Solaris 2.7 with Apache1.3.19 - Tomcat - Mod_jk
When I run Cocoon in the standalone way over Windows ME, every modification
I do on the files is inmediately refreshed, but I can't do the same when I
run it in the way I said on the top or even in standalone!
