Does anyone have a reference to the technological basis for the alleged superiority of the "moebius loop" over other amplified, broadband "shielded" loops? In other words, what makes this antenna any better than a shielded loop (even a multi turn loop within a shield) where the barrow band "cou

I'm considering the purchase of the Pixel Shielded Active Broadband Magnetic "Moebius Loop" Antenna. I intend to put it on the roof of my stilt home with a small rotor. It will be fed into the 2nd antenna input of my K3. My other 160 antenna is a 70 ft shunt fed tower, which works very well. An

It seems we have a collision of ethical philosphies. As most of us in the US are more familiar with poltical philosophy than basic ethical philosophy I'll define the view of HS0ZIA and Michael in those terms. There is more to ethics and class of operation than those who cheat - for example: Stations operating two Rigs on the same band, one Running and the other working Mults. Doing this is a distinct advantage over a single transmitter station that is forced to compete against two ops with two rigs.

Theoretically a well equipped QRO mobile could win a 10M contest just by having dead band access to almost every state for multipliers and likely good access to the Carribean, etc. Granted its a stretch and not about 160M but contesters have always been creative. A prime example is the earliest
