Charles, I also use the same choke construction as Tod, K0TO. Six turns through 5 Fair Rite No. 31, 2.4" dia ferrite cores. Works very well, essentially zero loss and no heating issues. Note, put the Pl-259 on after you make the choke coil or you will be able to only get about 4 turns ! 73, Bob K
