Greetings to 160M Enthusiasts Around the World,
The CQWW-CW is now in the books for this year. That contest along
with a mighty fine 160M contest sponsored by
the ARRL coming up this weekend will give you the chance to ensure that
your 160M station is at peak condition for
playing in the 16t
I'm wondering if anyone has ever built or modeled a multi-turn flag or pennant
antenna. I'm thinking maybe an odd number of turns with the resistor in the
middle of the middle turn.
Thanks.

I'm with you, Mark.
Previous to this weekend, I had made exactly 69 contacts on 160m in the past
37 years. I had worked 7 DXCC countries. Having confirmed 100 on every
other band under 30 MHz, I figure I needed to finally make an attempt on
160m.
I put up an inverted-L in the past few weeks and
I use Commscope RG-6 for all my antennas now and the feed lines. From
simple dipoles to full wave loops. It is stronger and matches good. Use
mechanical connections on the shield. I get it in 1000' wooden spools. Willy
