I am looking for a 80-160M remote automatic tuner that will tune my long
wire antenna. I know MFJ makes one (MFJ-998RT) that will handle 1500 watts
but I would like something of better quality. Seems the reviews are mixed
and warm at best for this tuner. Anyone have any suggestions ?

I have a Bliss MatchMaster remote tuner I can part with and about 150'
of control cable with mil-spec connectors. At the time this was the
best remote tuner in the market, custom made for each customer. see

Gary,
check Harris RF-615B, several of the hams in nearby area including me,
mine is not operational yet, use them to couple everything...it is a heavy
beast though :)

didn't even use math to design. The variables and inductor are turned
by motors cannibalized from cheap 12V battery-powered drills and
