V84SAA was loud here again this morning, saw them go to FT-8 and needed
V8 on digi, they replied after a couple calls, they peaked at -5 for
an hour and a half
from around 1600Z to 1730Z.
They have been loud here of course on 160/80/40 etc. great operators
to hear
me during the EU pile up

I was operating 20 meters and when the band closed I checked 160. This was
around 0200z. The European's were very loud. Some were S9. Worked about 20 in
10 minutes on a CQ. Lots of russia and east Europe. Band went dead after 30
minutes but came back one hour later. It was the best opening
This morning about 1 hour before SR, V84SAA
had huge signals on both 160 and 80, working
the contest. They were like the JA beacon
stations JA3YBK/JH4UYB, which were also in
fine form this morning as usual.

ps. I did work V84SAA on both 80 and 160 this morning in the contest...but...I
waited until after my SR so prop for the east was over.

Spotty openings to Europe from the SW with one surprise contact LZ2WO
just before sunset. Otherwise 1 G4, and a few EA stations. Also Q5 at
Sunset was IK2CLB with no QSO.
After 0300 no further EU DX worked. The band went downhill rapidly. Off
