I like this stuff. It's thick. It doesn't melt and run out. Use it with
high voltage connectors and outdoor coax connectors.

I use a 1wl vertical plane loop for DX on 80-20. It does about as well as
the 80m inv V with apex at a little under twice the height. If I had room
I'd try a 1WL on 160, even with the 50' height limitation. For local...I'm
lazy. I'd try the 1WL before doing all the work to clear space for the
Squirrels chewed completely through the service drop neutral at my urban
Atlanta QTH. Without balance, it put 190V on my, just out of warranty,
refrigerator taking out the variable speed drive electronics. Some
expensive squirrels. Perhaps providing a more desirable sacrificial chew

I am new to this whole 160 thing and slowly(recovering from rotator cuff
repair) getting things together. I've been reading the mail for a couple of
months now.
I would like to compare notes and will appreciate personal email from
anyone who has used a TenTec 599, AKA Eagle, on 160.
