I contacted Andrew Ikin of Wellbrook to make him aware of this customers
problem.
Andrew asked me to send WW3S a pm with Andrew's contact details so that he can
try to resolve the problem.

There are a couple of good articles on this subject by John Bryant with Bill
Bowers and Nick Hall-Patch , VE7DXR and the other by Mark Connelly WA1ION which
are worth taking a look at.
The first article includes measurements from 100kHz up to 7MHz.
I wonder if anybody has managed to contact Andrey at Low Band Systems (LBS)?

I sent an enquiry via his web site contact form and got no reply.
I followed that about a week later with an email to his gmail address and still
no answer
I am interested in his
Does anybody know if what was the Pixel Technologies BevPro-1 Beverage Antenna
System,
which I understand is now the InLogisInc BevFlex-4 Beverage antenna, is still
in production?
I can't see any reference to it on the InLogisInc.com web site
I've emailed InLogisInc but haven't received a
Many thanks to all those who replied to my query regarding the tensioning of
RG58 coax for a 2-way Beverage.
I managed to find some suitably sized Kellums grips over on this side of the
pond, so that's the way that I'll be going.

I have a follow on question from my non-invasive tree attachment question.
I am running RG58 through a hedge with the intention of using it as a 2-way
Beverage.
I am scratching my head as to how to attach some poly rope close to the ends
of the RG58 to enable it to be lightly tensioned.
I
Many thanks to all those who replied to my request for information on
non-invasive tree attachments.
There were more than enough ideas and I will mull them all over before deciding
which way to go.

Hello Mike
You forget that on this side of the pond, the majority of us live on pocket
handkerchief sized plots. :-)
The representative of a major building company in the UK was on TV yesterday
saying that 1000 sq ft was plenty big enough for a three bedroomed house.
I imagine that would be the

I understand that the Amsterdam Island FT5ZM DXpedition used a pair of Pixel
Technologies BevPro-1 Beverage Antenna Systems?
As a prospective purchaser I'd be interested to know if anybody had heard any
feedback on how these antennas performed.
Many thanks

I am considering the purchase of a Pixel Technologies BevPro-1 Beverage antenna
and wondered if anyone on the list has used one?

There are a couple of good reviews on eham.net, but I'd welcome some more
I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on the use of CAT5 cable for a
beverage,
in fact more specifically for a two way beverage?
CAT5 consists of 4 balanced pairs of approx 100 ohms impedance.
I was wondering if the first pair could be used as the antenna and with
some
relay switching done
I'd be interested to know what critter/rodent damage these BOGs get?
My experience, in the UK, of leaving the last 60m of my Beverage lying on
the ground for a few days, is that the insulation got chewed through in
seven places.
I would be interested in trying a BOG but I have a feeling that

I would be interested to know if anyone is using Coaxial Cable as the Feed

I would be grateful for some advice on the type of transformer to use on a
Beverage antenna that I am in the process of erecting.
I have been reading the latest (5th edition) of ON4UN's Low Band DX'ing and,
on Pages 7-67 and 7-68, he discusses the types of cores to be used and comes
