Sorry Kenny . . . no I didn't. In fact I've had a couple of emails from
others who called me, and I couldn't copy them either!
It was very wet over here, so I did have some 400kV power line noise, which
didn't help . . . but signals weren't that strong, or else I probably would
have heard you all
Well I came on last night, and my RBN reports were really good . . .
However, I didn't hear ANY North American stations at all !
Maybe propagation was one-way? (as sometimes happens on this band)

Many poor operators in Europe do not respect an area CQ, especially on CW.
On SSB Many poor operators in Europe wont even respect a DX station when he
calls for a specific prefix or suffix, why would they respect an area CQ ?

What's wrong with calling CQ [AREA]?
e.g.
CQ DX
CQ NA
CQ SA
CQ ...
And if you get called by a EU, just ignore it.

I wouldn't say conditions were GOOD last night, as the NA big guns are
normally several S units stronger over here, but they were OK.
I didn't get home from work til 0330Z last night (doing extra gigs for a
couple of weeks)
But I came on for just over an hour and managed to work 35 NA stations,

This snapshot of RBN spots over the last 36 hours is a little
disappointing.
Is there really an international contest on?

Shucks Pete, that’s propagation for you. I snared 37 DXC in last nights session
from here in Nova Scotia with my K2AV FCP and SAL-20 or new SGA, (Shared Ground
Array) beta version from Mark. Running just 600 watts. Many, many, did I say
many? US stations could not hear the EU DX and plopped on
Hi Peter
Signals from Europe were not strong but I worked over 50 counties on the
first night. Few days ago Eddy XV1X signal was very good "long path" really
SSW-SSW, CW solid 559, and just yesterday morning several station on the

Hi
Someone forbade the East of the USA to be at 160 m .. :-))
But the reason is probably in special conditions.
I check my RX if everything is ok ..
But everything is fine with her.
But the signals of many stations are very weak. Huge QSB.
My QSOs this night:
N0FW, K9BGL, N1UR, NI0G, XE2X
Yes, as per DL8LAS's post, DX conditions continue to be good . . .
Shame there aren't more NA stations on !

CW: 1800-1875
Narrow band data: 1830-1875
All modes within 3kHz BW: 1845-1875
Condition was very poor during CQ WW PH.
I worked JA and UA0 only; heard K3EST.

Very good over the pole real ham radio (cw) conditions from Northern Europe
