Thanks for the Digi-Key link, Grant. I thought that the only source for 4-hole flanged F connectors was Pasternack. Does this Digi-Key F connector have an o-ring chamfer on it as shown in their website image? Pasternack's does not. (But silicone dielectric grease seals mine okay.) 73, Mike W0BTU

I have to respectfully but strongly disagree, *except* for the part about durability. He uses two parallel wires instead of that floppy twin lead and ladder line. My Beverages are also made from two wires, except mine are much closer spaced. They have been up for over 10 years. I bought Misek's bo

Hi Joe, Have as look at the reviews of this bi directional Beverage. I have been involved with the design and testing for the past 11 years. The ease and convenience of working with low cost RG-6 for all antenna elements is a blessing. https://www.eham.net/reviews/view-product?id=14379

Hi Joe, I'm no expert but have figured out how to keep my bi-directional Beverage antennas up with the least amount of work. My location is wooded so falling tree limbs are a constant problem. It's not a question of if something will break, it's a matter of when it will break and how much work i

Hi Joe, The control boxes that you can buy are usually optimized for ~450 ohm line. Thus, they need custom transformers at each end. I wouldn't label that as undesirable, but that might be part of why some folks say that it is. Most 300 ohm TV twinlead that has been long used for rooftop antennas

I'm considering putting up two bidirectional Beverage RX antennas.  It appears that most of the recommendations for Beverages consider the close spacing of 300 ohm twin lead undesirable for reasons that are not entirely clear, but the consensus if far from unanimous.  I'd like to hear the judgm
