I was unable to be at the rig on Sunday, the 18th (when they worked a
lot of EUs including HA9RE). I spent the next five evenings at the
station. (FTDX-5000MP with micro-tune, Beverages, Delta loop, linear)
On the 19th they went QRT at our sunset. Later I worked VK3PA from the

..and judging by the response, an excellent showing was made on 160M.

Some (not all) NA topbanders awakened to fairly good Topband propagation
Tuesday morning with 4W6A. It seemed like spotlight propagation for the East
Coast. Some prominent topbanders with good receive capability heard nothing
while others had good enough signals for QSOs. It came down to bein

before sunrise, heard several times someone tune up, send some VVV
etc. on my freq so I continued to call CQ. heard the tuner again,
and this time he started calling CQ just a little down freq. Was 4W6A.
He said QSX up so went u
