So it occurs to me that before I pick a frequency for trying a cw QRS net,
I might want to ask
for guidance on the most gentlemanly place to run it. I take it anything
between 1800-1830 would
be likely to QRM more

I don't think you'd bother anyone between 1800 and 1810.
About all I ever hear there is RTTY, some domestic QSOs, and W1AW.
